Young and veteran businessmen combine efforts to develop Egyptian Tourism Sector

The Egyptian Businessmen Association, headed by Eng. Ahmed Belbaa and the Egyptian Youth Businessmen Association headed by Mohamed Qaoud, will present a joint working paper for the new government headed by Prime Minister and Minister of Housing Mustapha Medbouli in the next few days to promote the tourism sector during the current and future period.

The plan includes regulation hotels fares in accordance with international fares, in cooperation with the Chambers of Tourism, NGOs and investors in the sector.

The plan also includes contracting public relations companies in international markets, as these companies are able to address the masses as required, thus improving the image of Egyptian tourism and promoting it, to activate the decision of the Supreme Council of Tourism to promote Egyptian destinations.

The working paper stressed the need to pay more attention to the tourism education. This should be clarified to parents before their children enter the specialized study in the sector in order to encourage entry into the tourism and hotel education system.

The Tourism Committee of the Association of Businessmen proposed to re-structure the Egyptian destination map, so as to be in line with the nature of the tourists targeted from specific markets.
